Will Rinspeed 930-R69 ever have a following?
Seeing that there is a popularity in the 930 re-sale market, will there ever be any interest in these awful looking re-sculpted 930s?
They seem to be a buyers market right now. One consignment dealer claims only 10 Rinspeed 930s brought into the U.S.A.

Yesh, about like the Gemballa design. Igooz, the R69 looked like a 930 with a Ferrari Testarossa door scoops and rear end added. Kind of made the car look like a Por-rarri. It would have looked great on an epsode of Miami Vice

The red Rinspeed shown in that pic was for sale at Sunset Classic dealer, circa 2010 @ $85 k.
I don't know how much it went for. I looked at a pearl white , grey-market '85 yesterday for $53k , in pretty good shape. Besides this thing being glued together , to a point that I would not be interested in taking it back down to stock appearance...I would only buy it if this thing had some kind of ROI. I wouldn't keep it in my stable very long.
