With the car on the lift...I have worked and cleaned the chassis/underneath of the 930, and it is now nearly immaculate!! No leaks, no grime, partially painted and cleaned up...

When I first saw 315s, I was dumbstruck!
315s look so crazy wide to me...I think I'm just too used to the 245s that I was running in back.

Default Porsche cap -- 70mm?

Q: I need to order Porsche center caps for these Fikse (Fuchs). I was told that the original center caps from the factory Fuchs would work...Would that be the 70mm center caps?

The wheels will arrive this Thursday...lug nuts and tires ready to go...tomorrow I will order center caps..

I will weigh them tonight and measure the backspace for documentation...tomorrow tires! And maybe they will even fit on the car!!! That would be a bonus! LOL..........

Default Project Complete!!!!!! This 930 now looks proper! :)

Well folks...this is the end of the line...for me...
I have been posting all the updates...I forgot to weigh the wheels alone!

Front wheel and tire: 42 lbs.
Rear wheel and tire: 58.6 lbs
And wheel/tire combo took minimum weights. I did not balance the wheel prior to mounting tires. (no time)

I kept the rear 28mm spacer, and no spacer in the front. The wheels fit perfectly. At full wheel cut no issues, and I jounced rear and front wheels and no rubbing and no issues. I am using stock wheel studs, and I re-conditioned, cleaned, painted the lugs.

Comments about Fikse: Alan is a good guy and did a good job answering my questions. They are busy and they sound short staffed, but they did a good job. I would be more than happy to use them again. It had been 20 years since I bought a set of Fikse wheels and I know that a lot has happened since then....GOOD PEOPLE.

I have attempted t o show pictures of the car so that you get an idea on wheel/tire clearance...the clearance is tight but awesome!!!!

Better pix will come...I was short on time and it was starting to rain...I am going on a trip and when I am back next weekend I will take better photos!

This 930 looks bad now!!!

PS: Center caps coming next week too...

Igooz, I'd be interested in knowing what offsets Fikse built into your 9s and 11s. I suspect around 32mm for the front and 30mm for the rear?

Regardless, I'd also be interested in hearing how much clearance you have, front and rear, to the inside [fender wells/oil lines].

BTW, very aggressive look. Well done!

^Good morning! Unfortunately I left town last night and won't be back for a week. I will dig through my files for the backspace/offset for you. As far as clearance, I have a jack that allows me to pick up the car from the bottom of a tire. So I picked up one corner (by tire) at a time high enough to lift a whole side of the car --> almost full jounce...ideally you would compress the chassis but I don't have such a system. I have No less than 1/2" everywhere including front wheels at full lock. The exception is the rear fender's outer which I have about 1/3"....I am very happy with the fit.

(my car is factory alignment, 1/2" lowered, fenders not rolled/trimmed).

I will post wheel back space later.

GL

Doesn't get much better than a lowered black turbo on Fuchs
