been looking at the photos of the member turbos. great! I am enjoying. But it has prompted two questions:

1. my car has headlight rings the are wider at the top than the bottom. in old 911 days that was the US version. European version was uniform, which I like better. what is standard for a 77? I've seen both in the pictures. I don't want to ruin the originality.

2. where is the rear wiper supposed to park? mine is horizontal. is that right?

2. Vertical position (where my rear wiper rests)

You have the stock "sugar scoops". Beats me why they are called that. If you want the H4 headlights, look for Bosch Euro H4s. You can get them from Pelican, the Pelican parts forum and off eBay. If you are an eBayer, they have the best prices I have seen. You'll need to choose between black or chrome rings. You can get paintable trim rings for both.

thanks for the info, WPOZZZ. IIRC, I did the same thing to my 73 911S. I am in no hurry, but I may get the H4s, paintable rings and paint them the body color.

For some reason, I like the chrome rings on the H4 over the painted.

Congrats on the '77, the early 930s are special cars. I'm partial to the H1 "suger scoops" I always liked the look of US spec cars.
