Intercooler Seal
Does anyone know how important the black rubber seal on the top of the intercooler is? Mine is torn at the corners?? If this should be fixed, any suggestions for repairing the rubber? I have tried super glue and silicon sealant to no avail.

This seal makes sure that you are utilizing all of the air flow for cooling the air charge to the intake. Making sure that the air is forced through the intercooler not around it.
