Default anyone know this 930S Slantnose?

I don't know anything about the 930's (own a 993 Turbo) but it seems like a nice "play" car for not a lot of money. What are the pro's and con's of these cars?

Thanks!

I think that car would make you appreciate your 993 twin more and leave a sour taste in your mouth for 930's. How anyone could so that to an early 930 is beyond me.

^^^ Correct. Not a 930 and the seller mentioned it in his intro "1977 Porsche 911S with 930S slantnose body".

Sorry, you are right, I should have read it all. I took it for granted that it was a 930 because this is a nine thirty forum. My bad.

I wouldn't touch that car with a ten foot pole, or an eleven foot German.

thanks for the feedback guys. I'm still confused, though. What exactly is it specifically why one should stay away from this car?

it's a frankenmonster, you don't know where it came from, who built it or why. You are left with trying to unravel its past, and to what end?

If you want a fun car to span the technology between your 993 twin and today, buy an early SC, or even a 74-77 911S and drive or (restore it),You don't want someones mess to clean up.
