This is a nice car that presents itself well. It is not perfect (100 point) but early 930s in that category have all passed $100k with exceptional examples (as Phil mentioned) approaching $150k. One of my 930s is a 100 point, PTS Gunmetal Grey Metallic with 1,800 miles and I just turned down crazy crazy money for it.... because I doubt I could replace it.

There are a lot of roaches and and tasteless '80s modified junk available on the net, but unmolested examples are continuing to climb in value !

Best of luck with you search.
Thanks for the info. Did you drive it?

I can add that I knew the previous owner of pu911rsr's car. He was a very dedicated PCA guy and took great care of that 930. I used to see him with the car at some Porsche events.

Finding even good 930 turbos seems to be getting harder. It also seems that the market for these cars has gapped up and people are catching on. The whole early Porsche market is very strong with international buyers. I recently saw a 1989 911 speedster with 15k sell for around $185,000. I also saw an early RS sell for $500k. The window for finding good survivor 930 turbos at reasonable prices may be closing.

A friend of mine is selling a 75 930 silver/blk. It's number 112 of 284 for 75. PM me if interested and I will put you in contact directly. The car is in Paris, some state don't require anything to import a RoW car that's 25 plus years old. Florida is one of them, I did it with a 74 911. I just had to pay local sales tax to get it registered.
