Question Wheel balancing/ slight vibration in steering wheel

Just bought a 79 turbo with 11k miles. Car is perfect except for a slight vibration in steering wheel around 60. Normally this is a question of balancing. I brought the wheels to a speed shop ( who know how to balance properly), put the wheels back on and still have the same shake in the wheel. What else should I be looking for?

Some other things to check:

- Tires out of round or bent rim.
- Tie rods
- Ball Joints

Don't forget the control arm bushings are 24 years old and might be bad.

I had a similar issue and repacked and adjusted the front wheel bearing and the vibration went away.

They where loose when I started

What about the road you are on? I was thinking that I had a similar problem as well until I happened upon a new stretch of asphalt.
