Original 930 delivery accessories
This site is great with regards to all the info that is posted. Through the years in addition to paying close attention to the various changes of the 930's from year to year (and in some cases during the model year ex. 1979). I have also paid attention to certain accessories that came with theses cars through the various years. As well as certain paint patinas that especially the early cars had. To begin with, I thought that this would be a great place to start to document these delivery items that were found in the glove box and trunk compartment.
To me, as important as original a car is, it has to have all of the proper things that came with the car when the car was delivered new. This would include period correct and complete tool kit, tire inflater, owners manuals with pouch, Porsche lackstift(touch up paint), spare and period correct keys, right down to the Porsche leather key pouch that came with every new Porsche that changed through the years. Through the years I have accumulated spares of all these items for different years just in case I come across a car that is missing these items.

Sloane,
You seem to be on the right track with your '79 items. Try the Porsche web site. They allow download of their PETS. These PETS have a wealth of information and, for the most part, are quite specific by year/model for all supplied parts. The 911 USA 78-83 KATALOG should have what you’re interested in for your US '79 930. Once in awhile a part becomes extinct but that is uncommon.
BTW, my '79 930 has the same black tool bag with the 2 red plastic tags stapled to it (one a little longer than the other) as you have. I've always wondered what the tags were for and now in the last week I've seen two others exactly like mine. Do you or anyone else know what the tags represent? I have a red 930 so I thought maybe red tags for red cars and two tags for a 930 vs. SC or maybe red for 1979 and two tags for 930?

This is all the stuff that came with my '79 930. I have been collecting extra tool kits and the other items for a while now. The tool kits, tire pumps and even key fobs (pouches) that came with these cars when new differed slightly from year to year. For 930's from the eighties, I have never seen a kit that had two labels they only had one. I have a tool kit from a '86 930 and the single label is yellow. The tool kit from my '89 930 the label is light blue.
I have seen a lot of other '79 930 tool kits and most had the two labels although they were all not red but most were. The two labels seems to be a characteristic of a correct '79 toolkit. I have also seen '79 kits with one label so I do not think it is a hard rule. I have seen later build '79 tool kits were the inside (lining) of the kit had stripes. I have also seen '79 tool kits were the bag was brown.
The tire inflater is very distinct to Porsche's from the 70's and early eighties. This came with every car. It later changed to the inflater that came in a black carrying case.

My toolkit has two red labels.
Some of the applicable paperwork for ‘78/79 930’s:
- Window sticker
- Burgundy glove box owner/maintenance manual cover. I believe the inside color changed during late-79 production
- Two Blaupunkt Autoradio Porsche CR Stereo Type US radio schematics
- '79 owners manual
- '79 warranty and maintenance manual
- Hirschmann antenna manual with cleaning wipes and a metal tool
- Blaupunkt warranty card
- Blaupunkt Porsche CR Stereo Type US Manual
- Blaupunkt Autoradio Service booklet

Who makes that tire pressure gauge? Case looks to be 'Arrow Blue'
And, aren't you forgetting the red dot that came on the brake pedal to alert owners that the car had vacuum assisted brakes? Forget where I read that, can't say if it's true.
Take care!
