Greetings to all.
30 years ago I sold my black 911s And have missed it every day!
So driving along the back roads here in Florida, I stumbled on a '76 930. Sitting lonely on the side of the road.
After a brief discussion with the mechanic/rep, and a spirited 'test' drive, I decided the car needed to come home with me. I asked the car, and she agreed I might be a good fit.
But she def needs new tires.

So...after looking online, I decided to ask the forum for the best dealers for her needed tires.

The sizes are 345x35xzr15 rear tires and 225x50x15 91v front tires.

Any have some hidden away for a special occasion that they'd like to part with or know of a great dealer?

Thanks to all reply's.

I think Pirelli is making a 345 35 15 again, expensive but your don't have many options. Coker tire sells a michelin race tire in a comparable size and folks have "grooved" hoosier race tires.
Enjoy,
Phil

Welcome aboard! We love newbies...but can't help without first viewing your find. We're visual kind of people and just can't do squat without a picture or two to prime the pumps.
And I thought 16" tires were getting hard to come by...

sheesh, we're a brutal crowd, aren't we?

Congrats on the find! I think most of us would love to have a very early 930. I know I would! They sound wickedly quick, wonderfully harsh & unforgiving! That's pure personality!

Tires are hard to find & often expensive. Your other option is to go with a stock or stock-appearing rim in a slightly larger & more common size. There are some pretty nice Fusch replica rims out there that will keep that classic look & give you more flexibility when it comes time to replace the rubber.

Congrats on the ride
I have a set of flawless Fuchs with michilins mounted
Stacked in the garage, I went with 18inch Porsche turbo rims and modern mich ss tires.
I'll sell the fuchs w the car if I decide to sell. 15 and 16 inch zr rated tires are very hard to find
