Has anyone performed this modification on their 930? Pelican sells the Rennline model that places the battery in the smuggler's box. An odyssey 925 battery apprears to fit.

 

Thought about it, but did not want to shift battery weight higher. I put 925 in existing location.

 

You prioritize a few inches higher vs. a few feet back (now behind axle) & over closer to center axis?

Not that anyone would notice a real difference but for sake of BAE & theoretical perfection I respectfully disagree.

 

I wasn't asking if you agreed with my approach, I was just responding to the OP with what I did.
