Default Deutsche Parts Short Shifter Problem Warning

FYI, a Deutsche Parts lists a "Weltmeister Short Shifter" on EBay claiming it fits 930s and 911s -86. This is incorrect, this kit will not work on 930s. I contacted this company and they claim they fixed the listing, however, this is not the case. BE AWARE!

Wevo shifter or nothing....possibly one of the best upgrades one can do to a 930.

I haven't had an opportunity to try a Wevo so I can't really comment on their performance, however, I find my Weltmeister setup a huge improvement over the stock system. I think it was a $100 well spent, it made my car noticeably more enjoyable to drive.

Thanks be to Matsuka for heads up so that some may be spared aggravation.

+1 for Wevo.
I went from stock to Weltmeister to Wevo on my Carrera race car. Each step a significant improvement.
Went direct to Wevo on my 930, but now need to get a G50 version as I conv my 930 to a 5er.
