FS: K27/K29 Hybrid - "Baby K29"
I just recently purchased this turbo for my 930 but decided to go a different direction with the build. Known as a "Baby K29", it is a K27 hot side with a K29 cold side and clipped turbine. It performs very similar to a K27 HF-S with more top-end.
It was recenty rebuilt by Bob at Durabilt and is in like-new condition. No shaft play and no damage whatsoever.

I'm pretty sure that is the same K29 that is on my car. UMW rebuilt mine and was told it has a K27 hot side as well. This turbo pulls up to redline and then some!

I don't drive the car very much so I'm a little foggy on it. I put on a whole 700 miles last year and this year is probably less. IIRC, the car started building boost from 2500-2700, full boost from 3200 to 7000 (I was too slow on the upshift and it kept pulling like a freight train). I will need to take her out to verify.

Okay, I brought my car back from my other house and in 3rd gear @35 mph it is pulling 2k. If I get on it lightly, the turbo starts to spool and hits 1 bar by 3k.
