Default Going to p/u 88 930 in Dallas

Going to p/u 930 in Dallas from RAC Performance...had a Rennlister in the area go over an inspect car...he was very impressed. This guy has service and has purchased cars there. He owns a 993 RUF Turbo....want to know how to inspect CV joints...read issue on recent purchase by another post on this board. Engine and trans rebuilt by previous owner/shop owner in Arkansas 6000 miles ago. Spoke with him at length concerning this car as he serviced for 7-8 years prior to purchase from previous owner. Oil pan hit on speed bump and cost to repair engine was overwhelming for owner. Owner attempted to drive car to shop and ruined engine......help appreciated. Thanks

That is a nice looking car! Very clean with the bumperettes deleted & 935 front. And I love the silver fuchs & houndstooth inserts on the seats! In fact, the car looks more '70s than '80s in my opinion, which of course is what they were going for. Very cool!

The price on this is puzzling. It sounds like you got a VERY good deal!

Yes the drive was excellent.....except for the stay in Memphis. Took awhile to find a place I found safe off of I-40. Landed got dinner watched the Buckeyes beat nebraska....spent night traveled to Louisville next day stayed with Mom and attened the Concours at Louisville. Churchill Downs is the site and I sneaked in placed car in Porsche club area and waited for people to ask questions on car. They were amazed to hear I bought car day before and drove 1000 miles to this show. Life was good and everyone appreciated the car. Drove a total of 1250 miles with no issues and drove 75 -90 mph all the way. Car is amazing with the turbo boost being a bonus...will post pictures soon.

Congrats! I bought a 997tt from them last yr. I watched this car for a while on their site and on Ebay. Finally called Jon Peck last Friday just to find out you were flying in to pick it up. Glad you like it. I'm looking for a Gulf Blue, White or Silver car that's a bit hot rodded and 70's look to sticker up Gulf Racing or Martini style

I have to say I'm a little bit jealous of the journey and glad you got to enjoy it with no problems. Any future modification plans ?
