Funny, I have an 86 Targa 911 as well. I went by the rule of buying the newest or nicest 86-89 930 Slant I could find.
I ended up with an 89 Factory Slant. Its the only Turbo I have driven and its awesome. Plus I was at the right place at the right time! The lag takes getting used to vs the 3.2 but when the turbo spools up its like getting shot out of a cannon!
4 speed vs. 5 speed??
