I just got a lead on some 18 inch fikse fm10's off a 79 930. Michelin 345 30 18 rear and 245 30 18's for the front. Priced around 2500.00. Tires have 5k on them michelin pilot sports. Do you think these would fit a 89 930s....and would they look bad, or bada$$?

Thanks for your input

I can help you. Ask the seller for serial numbers and give me a call or email.

Not sure whether it was Lindsey Racing but I think this is what you're describing.

Not sure whose those are, but yes Lindsey offers a three piece like what is pictured on that car or Lindsey or Tru Design has a welded wheel.

Here is what the Tru Design wheels look like

Bit the bullet and picked these up today. 5000 km on Michelin pilot sport and the rims are in excellent condition. Paid 2g's for the set...time to throw them on.
And thanks to Alan at Fikse..great help.

Nice buy there Boosted. I'd greatly appreciate learning the specific dimensions that allow those tire sizes... assuming of course they do indeed fit without rubbing. That's a whole lotta rubber!

I'll get the specifics for you soon. I test fit one side of the car..from what I can see, the only contact area is in the rear tire...the side vent on my 930s touches but only the rear of the duct(plastic ). I believe it wouldn't be an issue with a 930 without the side vents.
