idart,
Nope. No switch or block off. It is solid with no hole in the dash.

I looked at the sales brochure from my '78. It says headlight washers were standard.

Ok, I think that's settles it - Thanks, TOMDEG. And this is in agreement with the Baron.

The next question is, does this applies to Euro 930s as well?

Thanks to all for the useful/informative feedback.

Humberto, what's settled? Was the car a headlight delete or a modified 930? It would be interesting to know if the headlight delete option also deleted the switch in the dash.

There's a 1979 window sticker in the photos at this link (list the headlight washers as standard):

Hi idart930,

It is settled that headlight washers are standard equipment for the 930s - at least with certainty for the US cars. For this particular '79 930 Euro example, that I am looking-at, the bumper was replaced, very likely due to a impact/repair of some sort. Although, I inspected the car with a PCA Tech/Mechanic and confirmed that the washer pumps are all there next to the battery tray and the washer's switch is there on the cabin as well.

Furtthermore/fortunately, there is no evidence of any major accident at speed, as the frame and original metal in the front end looks intact. Anyway, the headlight washers (snorkles) can be re-installed if one desired to do so.

I would not be buying this '79 930 to make it a show car, it is just a beautiful daily driver (that I don't intent to re-sale), so I don't see it as that big of a deal.

Thanks and regards,

Humberto-
