BTDT. Be careful because for some reason not all boxed rockers fit like other parts do. I ended up with three sets at one time before I junked the whole BR gig. One set was for a short wheel based car. One was fabricated by a great shop but did not fit the curve of the fender just in front of the rear wheel. And the third was just right. I have since sold that set but I do have set of bottom offset supports and the end caps if you need them. They are really hard to find so make sure if you buy a set that it includes the offset supports and the four end caps. The old rubber molding should work ok.

@911rudy,
Do you still have the end caps and supports? How much would be asking? I'm interested...

I'm sifting through all of my left over 930 junk and haven't found the supports yet but I did find the endcaps. I think I paid $20 for the caps. I also have two inner rubber strips that go between the car and the top of the rockers. They are still in the original wrappers. They were $20 each. I believe the supports were $75 for all of the many pieces. The reason is that there aren't any new ones and finding old ones is almost impossible.

I'm like you, Mussberger--I don't like them all of the time, either. I think they tend to look better on darker colored cars to me because the rubber strips aren't so pronounced that way.

Default 930 Boxed Rockers

I have a set of boxed rockers painted guards red that are currently on my 1986 930 that I will be selling. I am going to put the orginal rockers back on the car so it is completely original. Based on the cars records the boxed rockers have been on the car 19 years and during that time it was driven 15,000 miles. There are no dents, the rubber is perfect, all parts are available including end caps. Please see attached photos.

I think they only look good on a slant.

I will send you a note when they are off the car. This winter I am re-painting the original rockers, the front spoiler and mirrors.
