Default Cylinder Seal Rings Need Help

Looking at reconditioned 930 cylinders with the seal ring groove machined into them. The seller was going to use them with a copper ring but wants to keep the copper seals for another project. How standard would this machine cut be? What seal rings and who supplies them? The cylinders have been honed for cross hatch with a diamond hone and are suppose to be in spec. Could you install without seal rings? I run a 1 bar spring and sport cams. Not doing track time. Also the pistons have a slight relief cut for a possible high lift cam. What do you guys think, should I pass on these?

The 91 and 92 911 Turbo has fully finned cylinders. A much improved design. Direct drop in replacement for the 930.
