Default Proper pics at last

It's been 4 months since I got the 930 and at last I've got it looking and driving like I want. There are still small things on the 'to-do' list but the major ones have all been sorted. Not without time and money but I hope you'll agree the results are worth it. All the bodywork has been sorted followed by a full respray. Then some major service work, various other bits and bobs, suspension lowered and set up. And finally a good polish! Hope you like the pics

that is slammed! Nice...makes a big difference to the look...makes it appear even wider. Did you just use lowering springs? Also - did u consider paintshield say for the front end or u happy to just respray it at a later pt if required (say from road rash etc?)

Cheers for the nice comments guys! It's been lowered on the torsion bars and then aligned. We went up and down for a bit until I was happy with the stance. I haven't gone for paintshield but only cos I don't know much about it - any info on whether it's worth it?

Great car. A friend in Kansas City has the same model in the same color and it contemplating a respray. I have a clear bra on the front of my car and I think its well worth it. You can hardly see the material however it has saved the paint on many occasions.

Cheers,

Wow! I love the blue, and you put the aggressive lowered Euro stance on it like mine. Definitely a keeper. Good luck with her and may you have many happy miles together.

Cheers,
I've had the clear bra now for two years (plus headlight, foglight, and mirror clear bra as well). So far so good, saves the paint. The only drawback is the edge of the material needs to be carefully cleaned of soil and wax after waxing (use a cotton Q-tip) to make the line less apparent.

from what i have read the painthshield product is very good (4 year warranty also). Total 911 ran an article on it as a contributor had his GT3 covered. I got a quote for the 964 (as i am getting some work done on it and front end resprayed) and its £1000+VAT...u can drive in...and wait while they apply it. Anyway - i suggest it as u wont need to fret about the new paint getting chipped.

Ah! In that case I couldn't agree more! The tracksl*g is going to woodbridge next week, can't wait. I daydream about taking the 930 on track as well, I bet it would be crazy fun

Ohh, nice 930. Nice color, too! So, how do you like your 930 so far? I bet a lot.
