...the ad? Yep, he's definitely over selling it. Although, I wish most sellers spent that amount of time producing an ad.
This isn't for me but a friend. Yes, really a friend!
The ad didn't mention anything about suspension upgrades but it seems to sit well below stock. Yes?

First of all this is not a 930 anything at all. This is a 911 which was converted to a slant nose turbo look. I am not even sure if it started life at a cab being that I don’t see the hydraulic motor mount in the front of the motor which the cabs had. The rear deck lid is from a turbo seeing the cut out for the intercooler but this is a plain Jane 3.2 N/A motor. There is nothing particularly special about the interior besides some tacky non Porsche stick on trim items.
The seller’s description contains some stretched truths as well:
I don’t believe 964 rotors would work with regular Carrera calipers
Wide “tips” don’t add any power and this car can’t match a 996 water cooled for power
The seats are standard fair for a mid 80’s Porsche nothing special
Carbon Fiber intake? I don’t see one and there is no division of Porsche call ‘Power Sport”
The hard to find “trunk mat” with turbo script is nothing more than a front floor mat tossed in the front trunk.
“Stainless steel” door handles are tacky non Porsche parts, and the door sills are the same
Polished cylinders have nothing to do with boost.
Someone glued a Porsche crest on the Steering wheel which does not belong there.
The padded seat belts are all the rage with the ricer crowd and you get them at any Pep boys.
Oh one more thing... you can pick up a set of 7 and 9 x 16 inch Fuchs for a lot less than 5 grand.
This car is a mosh of cheap parts and a chassis plus drive train of unknown origin. This is not a turbo anything yet there is tacky “Turbo” splashed all over the car.
RUN FOREST RUN.......

One of the last pics of this car shows the headlights "up", the bottom of the lights don't clear over the "headlight well". Is that typical of a conversion or were even factory slants the same way?

The dealer also has a shady rep locally...

If you are going to race it, nothing is wrong. But if you want to maintain the integrity of the car then steel is the way to go. FG just means that it is cheaper and easier to install and will have the cracking problem most FG has over time. I put steel brake vents in my car and I can tell you how hard that was versus fiberglass. They are also removable just like the factory models and are not one big piece. On things that meet curbs and road debris such as a front valance or a bumper FG is a good product because it is easily repaired. One last thing is that FG rarely fits like steel and the edges are usually not as crisp as a steel piece. Check out the louvers on the FG fenders and you will see the rounded look of their edges and not the crisp sharp edges of steel.
