Well, it's probably not going to be as expensive as getting caught with a hooker by your wife!

Hey Bill the car is going to be in the Wilkes-Barre/ Scranton area for the mean time, I am thinking about having Bob Lower from L&B Engine Development do the motor build. Giadosh Enterprise in Forty Fort is going to do the bodywork/paintwork. and I will be doing alot of the interior work myself. With the exception of recovering the dash, door pannels. Lots of alacantara and carbon fiber accents in the interior to come. Once all that is finished I will bring the car to my house in Harrisburg to reassymble. I am sure I will be emailing you!

By the way did you take your car to Hershey last spring?

Hey Red,
Funny I bought my car in Pittston! I not familiar with those shops but I'm from the upper valley....the only shop I know down there is Rayco. I use a guy in Scranton called Ian's Speed Shop....nice little (1 man shop) indy shop....super clean.

Yeah had the car at Hershey with the Turbo twists on.....bought my Fikse's there and had to figure out a way to get all the wheels and tire home (thank god for friends's).

If your in the W-B area mulling around w/ the car let me know I'd like to see it!

Sorry to say guys this car was a no go! The seller stiffed me hard, we had verbal agreement but he sold it from underneath me. I did not have cash on me at the time of the agreement for a deposi(i told him i would go pull some out of the ATM and he said it wasnt necessary). I came back 2 weeks later with cash and he related to me that he sold the car despite our agreement.

I can not express how bummed out I am...

Where is your ATM? Alaska? I can't say that I blame him if it had two weeks with no deposit. I sell things all of the time on CL and I never hold anything without a cash deposit.

Yes I understand the whole two week issue, but we had discussed it and agreed upon when I went to look at it originally. I DID offer a deposit, he stated it wouldnt be necessary aslong as I transfured the title in the time discussed. I called him to sched the trans and he told me it was gone. Oh well, it is what it is, no sense in crying over a car. There are a ton out there! I wanted the 3.3L anyway!

Anyways, thanks to all and I will be back here once I find another car.

To be honest and rather blunt... buy the guy dinner!!! He rea1lly saved you from a costly investment. Find a good, solid 930, with a clear title...maybe a few hop up parts, and have a blast. If you cant afford to buy a car outright, or dont want to take a loan out, find a bare 930 chassis, ( IN GOOD SHAPE), and start buying parts for it.... still way more costly than buying a complete car, but in the end, it will be the way you want it. Trust me when I tell you, you would have gotten WAY over your head in that thing.... heck, most of us have well over 20 to 30 grand in juist our engine rebuilds! Not to mention all of the chassis stuff, brakes, suspension, interior...... and dont even get started on the paint, bodywork, etc.

My friend, you need to play the lottery, because God is smiling on your neck!!!!!
