Assess my turbo
I recently pulled the engine to work on over the winter. General clean up, painting, seal/line replacements, etc.
Got the turbo off today. A LOT of oil/gunk on top, and oil on the bottom. Not sure where it is coming from. Also, I'm not sure of the condition on the exhaust side.
See the pics, and let me know what you think.
Also, there is no manufacturer or model # anywhere on the turbo??
The only # I could find was on the intake side - M33 (see pic #4). I have the records from the previous owner, and it does say that a "hybrid Garett turbocharger" was installed several years ago. Any ideas?
