Oh yeah, the things I could have done knowing what I know now. Coil overs instead of bigger torsion bars, kept a like new C2T intercooler because it didn't fit with the AC , Tarrant/TRG/etc sway bars and strut tower brace, etc....

First things first....headers, and installl my SC cams this winter. Then, perhaps get rid of the boat anchor. After that, I'm done under fear of great reprisals from my significant other half.

For newbies to the slippery slope....take note on these fine details. Although my current larger IC works like a charm, this particular upgrade is not a bad one.

Thank you guys, info is duly noted!

Having talked to PO i found out that the cams installed are infact SC cams. What he called stage 1 or 2. They are manufactured by a specialist here in norway, and are copys of original SC cams. But, according to the manufacturer, they are of the same high standard as the originals, and there is a guarrantee on them as well.

Long sleeve IC. Does that mean that i can install a bypass valve that releases air atmospherically or what? Don't know why, but i kinda like a bit of chattering and "p-p-p-p-pffff" if you know what i mean.

As i wrote earlier, it was whilst attending a classic race, where i saw a 962 race car i fell in love with that particular exhaust/intake note...

Unless you're running EFI, vs. CIS, that measures airflow downstream of the BOV, you cannot vent to atmosphere. Since with CIS the airflow is measured upstream of the BOV you have to recirculate. If that makes sense!
