Hey Guys,
Recently started looking for a 930 turbo, where do you guys generally go around looking for one? Any websites in particular?
Thanks for the help,
Mike

Hi Mike,
I don't know where you're located, but you can have fun looking through these dealers' stock.
aicauto.com
sloancars.com
holtmotorsports.com
I've spoken with John at AIC, Richard Sloan and Tim Holt on the phone. All have good reps.
Then there's Craigslist, EBay, etc. You might also want to call some local P-car mechanics; they may know of good cars for sale.
I found my car on EBay after the auction had ended. Good luck!

i have been looking for a while in all the usual places. I also hear about some for sale underground, i.e. not advertised for sale but word of mouth such as "so and so may have one for sale give him a call".
i just can't get to put my hands on the cars to look at it as they are all over the US. At this point something will almost have to fall in my lap.

Where are you located...ie..where is your "lap"??...adding that to your signature might be helpful for folks to focus in on a region where you might be able to see one before you bought it.

It took me 5 years as well but I was pretty picky and I was looking for relatively low miles on the car. I had one 930 all set up to look at/buy up at AIC but after setting up an appointment to view, drive and possibly buy the car, it was sold out from under me without any notice whatsoever. I luckily had a strange feeling while heading out the door for a 2 hour drive up to AIC to ck the car out and called to verify our appt. only to then be told that he had "sold the car to an old (more valued?) customer"...no heads up call, nothing...nice. Needless to say I scratched AIC right off my list right then due to lack of integrity and loss of trust. Sloan has really nice cars but are a tad pricey. eBay Motors has many 930s just be ve-r-r-y careful of what you are actually looking at and who you are dealing with.

This is a nice car I have seen it in person. I have no affiliation with seller.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Porsc...mZ200341123923

Matt, that's a fantastic ad.
Well done. Someone's getting a great car.

Thanks! I hope they appreciate the quality of the car. I have had a few offers that are a bit low, that I had to respectfully decline. But I'm sure the right person will come along, it is truly a great, clean car. My wife and I are just looking to purchase a home, so the car needs to go.
