"There is so much torque in the redesigned engine that it would tend to pull the front tires up on hard accelerations"

Really, I mean really.....

Explosive, huh? Doesn't that pretty much sum up any 930?
At 624 hp, I would hope he's gone EFI. Funny, but do I see a WUR still tucked back in there....maybe just for looks?

And I especially like this description:

"A waste gate spring was added to keep the beast under control when an inexperienced driver is behind the wheel"

Does that mean that originally the WG didn't have a spring, or are they just talking about the "customized, adjustable, on the fly boost/fuel enrichment set at 1 bar".

Nice car, and with the rebuild it's probably worth half the asking price.

Yeah and it probably has half the hp, too.

It seems that the folks who don't particpate in the forums may not have a realistic feel for what the market is doing. More than likely, he knows he has a really nice car that he's invested a goodly amount of money into, but seeks to recoup some of his upgrades through an unrealistic price. It's good that you traded emails and perhaps gave him a little better feel for the market place at the present time.

I would love to see these cars traded at something even close to that price....I'd put my factory slant on the for sale block in a heartbeat.

Love the wheels. I have the Weltmeister/Cargraphic dummies on my Kinesis K27s , but the Forgelines are hot. Bet that set up was expensive...
