Geoffrey, what would you say the absolute limit is, power wise, with the Carrera manifold?

Looks like it might actually sell. With 1 hour to go, the current bid is at $40K and there is a note saying the seller has reduced the reserve and that the next bid meets the reserve. I guess he figures it just has to go already. It will take $100.00 more to meet the reserve.

So that's why my power starts dropping just before 7,000 then I guess? Just looked at the dyno charts and right about 6800-6900 it starts dropping by 5-10hp per 250 rpm, torque starts to go down at around 5.5-6k rpm...

Damnit Geoffrey - now I need ITB's...

And the winner is.... not the guy selling the 830HP 930 conversion.

With an hour to go, and lowing the reserve, he still could not get an additional $100.00 to sell the car. My guess is he had a friend bid it up to $40k and then lowered the reserve thinking sombody would come along and think they could steal it for only $100 more. otherwise, I can't image why the last couple of bidders would not put in the extra $100.00 to get the car.

I agree with your analysis! Very typical eBay "desparate-times strategy"...except it backfired on the seller.
