Default Air fuel mixture + Oxygen sensor install

I want to install an air fuel gauge in my 1980 930. Mine is a Euro Grey market so I don't think that I have an oxygen sensor. Is this correct or have I just missed it?

Can anyone tell me the best place to locate the oxygen sensor? Before the exhuast Y split to the wastegate or after the Y before the muffler? (any photos?)

Also, where did you install the gage on the dash for the cleanest look?

Thanks

After the turbo but as close to the muffler as you can. If it overheats you'll have to move it after the muffler but as close to the muffler as possible.

That pretty much covers it. Instructions come with the kits.
The threaded bung should also be welded in between 10 and 2 o'clock in the pipe.
That keeps the wideband O2 sensor away from harmful moisture condensation from shorter drives that collects it the bottom area of the pipe.

Default oxygen sensor

If the O2 sensor is placed after the turbo wouldn't the turbo heat the exhaust and give me a false reading or at least a more lean reading?

It seems like before the turbo would give me a more accurate indication of the true A/F mixture.

Most wideband manufacturers give a recommended placement in the instalation instructions. It is usually about six inches downstream from the turbo in the downpipe and before the muffler if I remember correctly.

You don't put the sensor before the turbo due to backpressure.
