I used to feel the same way...

I owned an 89 Turbo with some light mods (1 bar spring and aftermarket muffler), which obviously had the G50 5 speed. Loved the car...

I recently sold a 87 Turbo for a customer (which was a 4 speed) that had the following modifications:

- 1 Bar Spring
- B&B muffler and headers
- K27 high flow turbo
- lightweight clutch
- Kokeln Intercooler

After driving this 87 twice I absolutely fell in love with it (it also had the smoothest 930 4 speed I've ever driven)... With the amount of usable hp/torque this car had, I quickly forgot it was only the 4 speed...

So, don't necessarily rule the non-G50 930 out!
