Hey Pete,

Thanks man...yes it did. I've always wanted to find out more about the car but really didn't know how to go about it.

It's such a small world...

I just resigned myself to the fact that I would learn more and more each day as I talk to people and when the time came to have to do any further upgrading.

These forums are absolutely invaluable...

NICE! Congrats Pete, good for you.

Very much looking forward to any video and pics you'll share!

Santa came early for ya! I've been too naughty I guess 8-). Besides, me car's parked for the winter, sniffle sniffle.

And, heh, I'm with ya on the neighbor thang... all me cars have always had, ahem, "sound". My //S8 is likely the quietest I've had in a long time - she roars WOT but trolling is quiet(ish), at least compared to all my previous stuff.

Here is what I remember
RUF 3.4l pistons and cylinders
Pauter Rods
Raceware hardware
Cams
It used to have an Apexi boost controller but I thinkit is manual now
4 speed no lsd
I think it is a B and B exhaust
The gauges were done by north hollywood speedometer
The car used to be serviced at Planet9Eleven in Oklahoma
I used to work there so I am quite familar with the car and actually have worked on it before.

Wow! That's fantastic. Thanks so much for sharing this with me. Now at least I have some idea as to what information I can provide my mechanic.

Yes, the exhaust is B&B and boost controller is manual...tranny is 4 speed and the seats are Recarro; however, I didn't like the red so I had them recovered in Black and Tan leather to match the rest of the interior...oh yeah, the front brakes are Big Reds but are still located on the front side. I'm sure you must have meant the rear caliper because they are on the back side...you guys did an awesome job on the car. Did Planet9Eleven perform the engine build? Just curious...

Also, do you remember any of the performance specs on the car i.e., HP & Torque?

Man, this is way to cool. Almost like finding a lost relative...

Thanks again Early and you have a great day...

We never put the car on the dyno. We did install the motor but it was built somewhere else. I cannot remember the name of the shop for the life of me. I do remember that whoever built it was a very reputable engine builder. I will try and dig up the info for you

Hey John,

I'm currently running B&B headers with exchangers and muffler (No Cats). Sounds pretty decent. Not as loud as the Zork but definately not quiet.
