yea, but sell the SC, the turbo engine, and build a nice revving 3.0l and run GT4. With the turbo you already have the wide body, big brakes, 5spd.

You can always keep the turbo motor just in case... you feel the need for speed!

OT but I really think the formula should be Weight/HP + Torque, which is what NASA does I believe. The difference between my car and what is possible and still legal in GT1 (for the same car!) is about $100K..

How about reinstalling the 3DLZ turbo (which can go with the car) and running it in D Stock? (which is now G I think). 78-89 3.3 Turbos and as the 89 had a G50 what would be the issue? I think it actually could be competitive in that class...

You would also need to ensure that your trans was a G50/50 trans, not the G50/01/02 to meet the update/backdate rule.

Have no idea what the friggin thing is... has 5 gears, is big, cost a lot. Sheesh, you can run Motons in G "Stock" and get away with it and I have to worry what model # my G50 is?

Yes, the gears are different between the two boxes, the R&P is different, the mainshaft is different. You wouldn't want to have a competitive advantage now would you?

A couple laps at Watkins Glen on her maiden voyage after the G50 install. I was only running 2:15's but she can go a LOT faster...

Gary, saw your threads here and on Pelican...good luck with the sale and I hope you get what you want for it.

God knows if I wasn't so deep with the Blackbird I'd take it off your hands. Beautiful example, again, good luck.
