Default how long do headers take?

I was thinking about getting heaterless headers for the summer and retaining oem's for fall/spring. How much of a pita is it changing them out? Just peeking under the car the don't look to bad to change out..

It's not too bad, but I'm not sure it's worth the effort. What would you gain other than a few less pounds and no way to heat or defrost? If you are worried abot any heat getting in, remove the ductwork from the headers to the heater boxes.

Also, if you break a stud....

You will risk stripping threads and breaking studs EVERY time you do this procedure.

I really don't think this is a good strategy. Get some B+B headers with great performance and heat, IMO. They still weigh much less than other type headers with heat.

But everybody has their own ideas about their favorite headers, so shop around.
