Phil, what's your recommendation for 1st time wash and care for a 45 day new black paint job (Glasurit 2 stage?
Also, this is my first black one, having always owned either white or silver 911's, so I need a course on caring for black finishes. Back when I used to hang with some PCA Concours types (whom I've seen traded in for POC Racing types - LOL ;-) - it was all about Zymol Carbon wax IIRC. Haven't bought a cover yet (being close to the beach it's a dusty atmosphere here and family won't let me hermetically seal the garage! ;-) either ... what's best indoor car cover? Your guidance will be appreciated.
Cheers, Ross

Ross,

Ask your body shop that did the work how long they recommend before putting a coat of wax on it.

Do you plan on using a Porter Cable?

Umm er uh well no ... I've been told never to allow a buffer anywhere near a fine finish. Of course this came from strictly hand applying Zymol fanatics.
