Could be a good project but I would try it if it was in the 7-10K range.
Some odd things- IF it was a RUF- the front lower valance, the rear wing, the rockers would be different. The most obvious give away is the stock mirrors still in the original paint color. RUF- maybe the wheels but I doubt anything else is. OR it was not orginally a RUF car and someone transfered parts.
Motor work, even low would be 5-7, plus 10K in prep and paint, 5K for anything missing plus 16K puts the car in the "I could buy one unmolested and running" price range......fix the motor, install a cage, leave the interior out and sell it, leave the paint as is and go racing!

Does anyone have a RUF that could tell us where the idetification marking for the editions are? I'm a little fuzzy on what changed from the eairly 80s to the late 80s cars.....?
