Default Special Thanks To Dyerkes (David)

I know that this is properly not the right place to post this but I wanted to tell all you guys that we sure have some great people on this forum. I wanted to give a big thanks to Dyerkes (David).

Some of you guys might remember I posted an ad looking for a rear A/C condenser and Dyerkes replied he had one, I went and picked it up and when I installed it, it had a small leak on the fitting. I tried to have it repaired with no luck.

I contacted Dyerkes to let him know what was going on and what did he say? Sorry can't help you? You bought a used part and your on your own? No... He said no problem, email me your address and I'll send your money back. He also said don't worry about driving 40 miles to bring it back.

Its great to know we still have honorable people left in the world

Hi Mark,

Yes, I'm finally at the point of getting some forward progress on the engine side. CMW has finished my heads and they should have shipped by now. I have to get back on track and get all of the hundreds of "while I'm waiting" things wrapped up so that I'll be ready to focus on the engine.

I appreciate the praise that I received from you and the others, and I'm very pleased to say that I've yet to have a bad experience with anyone on this board.

Regards.

Did I get my IA modded fuel head from you David? I think I did. You had your car EFI'd by Pat Williams Racing IIRC?

Nathan,

I did sell a modified fuel head, but I don't believe it was to you. I had been considering Pat Williams EFI conversion, but abandoned that quite some time ago, and I'm doing a TEC3-R EFI setup.

Sorry then, wrong David. Anyway, he was a stand up guy! Actually IIRC he was from TN.

+3 or +4 for David.

I just rec'd his old heads, and he was super on the transaction.

Good luck with your project, David. Look forward to seeing you at VIR in 2008!

RE-building is more accurate.

Guess I didn't tell you. Spun a bearing at VIR in Nov. Grit went through the engine, crank scratched, a Pauter rod is toast, my stomach in knots, etc. Found a few cracked heads and rebuilding for longevity. I hope. I'll email you.

Yep, just didn't know the heads were toasted... Why not just buy my car and be done with it... If I don't have to finish it I can save you money!
