Some of you know me and I am learning sooo much from you, I have a question? I bought another 930, its a 1980 930 euro, it has ruf gauges ect.....I dont think its really a RUF but anyway, I was looking at the turbo ect to start seeing what I need to do to get more horses, it has GARRETT turbo, I'm not sure what type or if its any good for HP, the numbers are as follows, T/N 5222-970-3100 MOD 3LDZ.319 Code R.S S/N 97110406, it also has an after market exhaust, I have heard that the euro cars had 300 at the crank, and thoughts about what it should be doing and I would like to get around 400-450 at the rear so I know I have some work to do, I will take it to the dyno when I have the time, I am planning on a wideband and wastegate not to sure about the rest, thanks Jeff

I agree the numbers say its stock, I will take a pic this weekend, and post it, I was also thinking that maybe someone sent it off to have it rebuilt and garrett did it? but now I'm thinking after searching on here that I will need to get a bigger turbo anyway, any thoughts on which one?

If you are looking for 400+ HP I believe you will need to go EFI, head work, bigger turbo, and most likely bigger I/C.. bigger $$$ is what it boils down to.. Talk to Steve at Imagine Auto...
