Default Can I put 3.2 carrera heads right on my piston cylinders?

I would like to put a carrera 3.2 intake and cylinder heads on the top of my 3.0 litre pistons. That would be cost effective and maintain my short stroke crankshaft, as a way of going to EFI and putting in a 964 cam and getting better air flow.

What I am wondering, and have heard conflicting answers to, is whether my compression would change if I simply put the 3.2 cylinder heads on my current pistons. The cylinder head is supposed to have the same dome as mine and thus my compression supposedly would stay the same. Is this true?

Also, if I simply use my cylinder heads, what kind of porting and valve changes will I have to do to match up with a carrera manifold?

Thanks!

Yes, however, the 930 intake manifold has a significantly smaller port size and you'll need to address that. The 3.2 Carrera heads are also not made from RR350 which is the higher temp alloy that was used in the 930 heads.
