RH P 3.6 Rims
Guys,
I have a '95 993 narrow body coupe that I may put RH P 3.6 rims on. I see that some of you have them on your 930's. They look amazing. How are they holding up? I heard they tend to bend easily. Anyone with issues with these rims?

Three Wheelin'
I've driven over some pretty horrible roads in Texas and driving my car back from Florida on my RH Supercups. Some of them, I'm talking about 3rd world, post-apocalyptic, disaster zone quality roads! 
I haven't noticed any obvious signs of bending or damage other than the curb rash and nicks from the PO, and I've changed the tires a few times in the past 6 months so I have been able to inspect the wheels inside and out. Just recently, I hit a huge, MASSIVE recessed grate/runoff vent on the highway (looked like 2-3 inches deep, godd@mned TXDOT!, excuse the French) at ~60mph. I was in traffic so I couldn't change lanes and it came up suddenly so I didn't have time to brake enough. I cringed right before it as I was almost certain the tire was going to explode and I'd plow into the center divider but, no damage to the tire and no signs of damage to the wheel luckily enough. They appear to be decently tough wheels.

I pulled the trigger and ordered a set for my 993. I'll be posting pics. next week after I have them installed on my car on the 993 forum. I love the way this wheel looks and I can't wait to get them!

I have a set of these on my 930 euro and have not had any problems. I track the car and live out in the country, so county maintaned roads end at my driveway. We went with a certain tire that had a bead lip but I cannot remember what brand off hand. I can check if you like...

The best looking wheel for our cars period. I get compliments on mine all the time and I also track my car with them and never a problem. They just seem to loose air pressure so you need to always check pressure.

But let me get this straight: the RH replicas--they're 3-piecers, but with a cast aluminum center? Not forged? To a certain degree, what's the point? All the effort and cost of a 3-piece design, yet without going the little extra mile with a forged center?
On one hand, if guys like Mike has tracked his wheels for years without problems, who cares? But at the same time, if I'm going to be spending that kind of money on a set of wheels, why not pick out a set with forged centers to somewhat justify the cost over a set of quality cast aluminum?
Not trying to incite anything. Just trying to understand before I one day pull the trigger, myself.

They're my favorites, too. I'd like to buy a set, but I've got these 18" SSR GT3s that the previous owner installed right before I bought the car. I also still have the original Fuchs that are in minty condition. So it is hard for me to justify such an extravagant purchase. I guess I could always sell my SSRs, but then I'd be taking a bath on them. So I guess I need to learn the art of being content...

I think the supercups match the age of the car and inhance the looks. It makes the 930 more modern without looking as if you purchased aftermarket wheels. They fill the wheel wells perfect and IMHO complete the supercar look.

Here's my '89 with RH 3.6s. No problems with them at all. I also got the original wheels with my car. I'm not a "wheel man" when it comes to car appearance though. I might prefer the look of the Fuchs, but I like the way the car drives with the 18" wheels. Apart from the wheels, the car's all stock.
