My 930 has BBS 16 inch wheels. I have thought about upgrading to 18 inch wheels, but some have told me that the ride quality suffers greatly due to the smaller sidewall height. I use my car primarily for commuting, on reasonable quality roads. Any input regarding the 16 vs. 18 inchers in terms of handling, ride quality or other noticeable differences in performance?

I did notice the ride stiffened up a bit. On DE fun laps I felt the car was more predictable and handeled better but the differences are so suttle ony the owner would probally be able to tell. Ride quality did not change much but you feel the road in the steering wheel more than you a#$. I am very happy with the changeover.

And to answer "Black930"s question- I measured the lips and the fronts are 3" , the rears are 4" from the outer ring bolting surface to the outer lip.
