I hear you, I went through the same thing when I was searching for my 930. When I first set eyes on mine I knew it was the one, I wouldn't let this one get away from me.

Too bad you don't want a nice original red slant, mine is up for sale.

Man, I just love that color as well. if my 87' red slant wasn't all original I'd have it painted the same.... if I was keeping it.

Bernard, wheels look great. Amazing what a set of wheels can do for a car... btw, why did you put crests on the fenders? I'm not to sure if that would be to busy with the one on the hood as well.... just commenting, no offence.

 

Thanks guys... The color is Slate Blue Metallic a 1984 color. I remember the first time I saw the 1994 3.6L Turbo, I said to myself if I ever get a Porsche I would get those wheels. You need to see the crest in person, it looks great with the color.

I like the crests. Are they an enameled "deep" decal or a flat vinyl crest?
