After waiting patiently for a few months, I finally picked up my new toy! I hated the chrome 18s on the car so I took them off and put on a set of 7s & 9s my friend had sitting in his shop. Brought the car home and polished the Fuchs, stuck on a set of caps I had and dressed the tires.

 

This was pretty neat and it came with the car.

 

Wow, now that's something! You are correct about the wheels, the Fuchs are one of the very few wheels that will compliment the styling of the classic body.

I like the last-50 plate. I own '79 # 1200, but didn't get the plate like you did. That's pretty rare!
