Default Rubber Whale Tail Replacement

Does anyone make a carbon fiber replacement for the rubber bit on the whale tail?

Try Getty Design. http://gettydesign.com/ If you don't see it, call them, they can make anything.

Stay away from Better Bodies.

I was thinking about having some built myself. Not sure if there is enough market though.

If 930 and 964 were the same I probably would go for it.

I think one would sell a few but not sure how many. We have built different glass parts through the years I thought would be the one and they sell but like a fad they tend to come and go. I suspect a CF wind will as well.

If "reasonable" I am in. I have a DP extended tail I plan to install and was interested in a carbon fiber piece to cut down on weight as well. It is my understanding that the 964 piece is smaller. Does anyone know if this is true?

I'm just going to end up replacing the whole tail with Getty's "slope nose" piece.

Does anyone have a picture of one of these on a car? Either factory or Getty, OR is this just the same thing I already have on there?
