How much oil should be consumed at a DE event with a 930 turbo? How many quarts per track miles should be added during a typical 2 day weekend?
Model year is 79 turbo which is completely stock except for B&B intercooler.

Trying to gage what is expected oil use at the track with these cars to see if I have problems with engine.

Compression test shows all cylinders 132-145psi....no leak down available.

 

It's hard to say. Some times I use 1 qt over the week end sometimes 2. Depends on miles, heat, leaks, condition of engine.

 

When my car was CIS, it used 1 qt every 900 miles or so. For a weekend DE event, it was nearly a quart a day.
