Default C2 Bumper Kits?

With the new 3.6L wheels, 993 mirrors and H4 lights it looks like the only thing I have left to do are the new style bumpers (91-94) to complete the 930.

I received the new GHL exhaust tonight when I got home and will install that tomorrow which leads me to my next question, on the rear bumper, with just my single 4" tip I don't want the new bumper to have the two cut outs because of my new exhaust. What are my options here?

For those who have upgraded to the new bumper any help would be appreciate it.

How about some details on what your 930 is originally? Year? USA or RoW?
I suspect you'll need/want the C2 rockers to match the C2 bumpers.

If by any chance your 930 has the Euro/RoW design rear bumper and you'd like to sell it complete, please let me know.
Cheers!

i think you will also need the 946 tail lights and motor cover. the bumper comes in three pieces but all turbo's have two holes for tail pipes. aftermarket may be the only way to go for the right side with NO cutout. dont think you new GLH tailpipe will line up with 964 bumper cutout on leftside tobegin with.good luck tim

Bernard,

Sorry I can not answer your question but I have one for you. I also have an 86 930 and am getting ready to put in the H4's. Just curious if you found this difficult and have any tips I should look out for when making the switch.

Thanks!

Painless wiring has a kit that comes with every thing that you need plus instructions for the switch. They include two relays, #12 red power wires and all of the fittings. They even tell you how to put a switch in the circuit so you can run all four bulbs at once.

My muffler has been modified to suit the rear bumper. It was a dual exit box though.

I haven't received the lights yet... should be here this coming week. I found this rear bumper without the cut outs on the yellow cars but I not to sure if I like that slit under the reflector or not.

Try these guys. I have rea some real bad things about Better Bodies from guys on this forum. I have talked with several people about the 965 bumper and the consensus is that it is too heavy. Plus the mounting was not designed to fit the 9300 rear clip so you have to fabricate it. Which ever one you go with make sure that they include the mounting and support for it.http://www.nrauto.com/default.asp

Wow, nice tip 911rudy...
I wish I would have found this sight a while ago.
They advertise the bumers are made out of FRP. That is very impressive it the quality is there. I'm anti-fiberglass when it comes to a road car. I book marked the sight and plan on checking them out later in the year (budget) for a set.

E-man,
I was thinking about just the rear since I got the DP front valance and if I get it I will post what it is like. If all goes well we could meet and you could see it first hand.

the best place to buy ANY aftermarket body piece for a 911/930 is M.A.Shaw.....BAR NONE!!! I have bought several piecies for numerous suppliers, and M.A.Shaw has the best quality product out there... there is also a rumor that Getty design is also the same as M.A.Shaw....

I have C2 fiberglass bumpers that were installed by the PO. I haven't taken the front off so I can't comment on it, but I have had the rear off a few times. It's a very simple installation. It uses about 12 bolts or screws along the top edge. It also uses the two stock braces near the rear fender wheels. There's no change to the lighting in the rear.
