RUF BTR Conversion ???
Will Ruf Still convert my car if I wanted to go this route?
OR
Will have have to collect the parts and do it myself?
The reason I ask is I am looking for more power, and thinking about stepping up to the high $$$ mod plate this summer.
Should I go RUF or just plain 'ol EFI?
HELP!

In case you want to have the duplicate thread deleted, I copied and pasted my post from there:
Since the reason for the question is more power, I'd vote for EFI with the necessary mods to get the power increase desired. I am doing the same thing right now although I had the RUF mods to start with.

Thanks for the replies gentlemen.
I have been spending a lot of time around my friend's speed shop and a lot of the local guys are modding their Vettes & Mustangs for the summer. I guess being around all that power has given me the bug.
I thought about going EFI, and I also thought about sending my car up to IA this summer and getting headers, HFS, and fuel head mod (those would be all I would need to max out my CIS, I have everything else). I also contemplated finding a solid 911SC and attempting to build a Yellowbird replica.
I don't know what I am going to do, all I know is that I am starting to get the same feeling in my gut that I got before I bought the 930 in the first place!!!

Stop beating around the bush, send the car out, say goodbye to wads of cash, wait a year and then you will have a killer car.
If you aren't prepared to do the above then forget it and enjoy the car as is. On the other hand you will always be wondering what it would be like to anihilate other cars or perhaps you can go buy a new (flame suit activated) Z06.

Cajun, I know the feeling. When my car was being done by ProtoTech in Ft.Lauderdale(endless waiting) There was an original RUF there and it was beat. But, it still looked great in a rough way. They had even done the plexiglass air inlet in the rear quarter windows. Passenger seat was out. fire extinguisher strapped in and the usual no drip rails etc. Thing was just Bad ***.
How many conversions or originals did RUF do? How many are still around? When will the general buying public realize what amazing products they were for the time? I just talked myself into calling RUF myself.
