All of these supposed 1000hp cars are out and barely breaking into the nines with trap speeds of low 140's.

What I do know is, no one is near the power we've achieved, there are very few if not any Porsches that have trapped higher than 150.
Most of the "1000hp" vette's run in the mid 8s with trap speeds in the high 150s. If you show a run of low 8s and 167 trap speed and 3100#s on the scales, I think everyone would believe the claims. Until then, it's just an internet rumor.

Btw, you were the one that siad there was no wheel spin because the suspension was "set up". Now when I question the ET, all of a sudden there is wheel spin. You can't have it both ways.

And yes, anything over 150 trap speed is fast. But that still doesn't prove ~1300hp at the crank. I am sure the car is very fast, just not as powerful as the hyperboles.

You sure about that? I'm pretty sure this one went 10.32@154mph. Trust me, you guys aren't the only ones with quick Porsche's out there, just some people don't care about swingin' their dicks on the net.

P.S. I have a lot of respect for Bello, I think he is an innovator and great fabricator. However, I wouldn't mind seeing a dyno or vid of the car making 1153whp, cause thats one hell of a feat.

This thread is a classic bait and switch. First the mysterious video followed by the for sale pitch /sold and then this new"monster". What a surprise, now it has escalated into a run at the 1/4 for $$$ to show what , mainly the driver, and to a lesser extent , the car can do.LOL,priceless drag negotiations going on right here and that is the reason the 50G AX22 bet from Jean went unanswered and moved swiftly to the strip.....

the MPH is more accurate in determining the hp, not the et. 1153 has the potential of 8 sec, but not necessarily so ,,,,

And here's a drag calculator that estimate power based on ETs.

http://www.dragtimes.com/horsepower-...power+Estimate

Not matter how you slice it, you ain't no where near 1250-1300 at the crank.
Those et. calculators are so far off base , it should be known as a ET mis-calculator
Not a good choice

Dead on....trap speeds barely change with or without traction, kinda mysterious

True But weight will impact the hp required to hit a given trap speed by quite a bit. Either way, an alleged 167mph trap speed still does not equal 1153rwhp/1300fwhp, unless he's driving a 4000lb truck. My personal guess is that the car is more like 2700lbs and makes around 800ish at around 2bar. That would make sense given the unverified stats that have been tossed out.
