Default BBS Rims?

Hello, all I am new to the 930 (just bought a Copper Brown) and to this board so please excuse this neophyte question. Does anyone know what the manufacture name is for the optional BBS rims? I live in Japan right now and there are tons of places here selling old BBS rims I just need to know the name, I am not sure if they are the RS or RSII. Thank in advance.

Hi Chris, not sure if it'll help but there is a rim from BBS called the BBS RS-GT, which is used by a great number of factory racing teams, alternatively the BBS-LM in silver or my personal favourite in gold, that'd look great on a Copper Brown!!

A friend of mine, down the street, had two or three sets sets of these - all sold, now. I think they were 15"s and pretty damn wide. He had a helluva time finding tires for them...at least wide enough to suit his needs. I've heard that some tire manufacturers had sort of an "on" again "off" again production apporach to these things...so be sure you can get tires. To conflict this info, I've heard there are no shortages of tires! So who knows...just do some research.

There are tons of them here and not that expensive. It seems like amost every older car here in Japan has BBS rims. Thanks for all of your help I will let you all know what I find.

Hi Chris

Not sure if you knew this but BBS are made in Japan - in Gunma ken - think they are cheaper here than most places as well.

Depending on costs to buy and ship, there is a demand here for wheel halves and centers. At least in 18'' sizes.

I've got one broken wheel center I can't find a replacement for now.
