I am going to Fab a induction tube out of 2 3/4 aluminum. I have so many projects going on at the moment, I cant seem to fininsh the car. Thursday night is my dead line, I plan to have it at work on Friday, I have someone who works with me that I need to taunt,,,,,,,,,,(you know who you are)

Who ya gonna taunt from the side of the road after your 915 blows parts all over the street? You should've bought a crack pipe instead of that Porsche, it's cheaper. HA!

Looks like a great product, considerably larger than a stock 965 IC but what benefits would you get if you are only running 100hp over stock? Will this make any improvement if you are only running say 430 bhp on CIS or do you need to be pushing over 500BHP to see the benefits?

That is what I thought, although there was someone on the 964 turbo forum a year or so back that was running CIS and had the basic bolt on mods. He claimed he was running about 350 to the wheels with the stock IC on a 94 turbo and when he switched to the ANDIAL 965 IC he saw an increase of 35 hp to the wheels without any changes.
They claim in their ad that the internals are polished with less rough edges and smoother air flow.

Since my B&B has been working out for me, I'm planning to keep it for now. I'm sure one day a used 964 Turbo intercooler will turn up when I have a few extra $$$ to spend. The Blown-Six is a nice unit, though.

If you guys remember back in the IMSA C2 Turbo cup days, Porsche also used a bigger 4" core than the oem 2.75" C2T IC and they are still using CIS; so there's got to be a benefit or Porsche won't be doing it.
Yes, the stock C2T IC is capable of hp beyond the CIS system but that is only the "flow" aspect of it. All ICs will get heat soaked and the bigger core units will sustain lower temperatures for a longer period than a smaller core; therefore as long as there is lower intake temperature you will aways have a better hp result.
For all you guru's out there, correct me if i'm wrong.

The 4" core IC is the one I am talking about. I would have to supose that if more hp was achieved on a dyno pull than the larger IC cooled the air better long before heat soaking becomes an issue.
