What model 911 is this? (Sorry I'm new to Porsche)
I posted this in the 911 forum but was suggested to post here in the 930 forum to see if anyone here owns this car and can give me more info on it...
Here's the car...
I'm relatively new to Porsche and I don't yet have a good eye when it comes to what's what. So what model is it? I'm thinking either a 911SC or a Carrera 3.2 with turbo flares. Or could it be an actual 930 of some sort? I think this Porsche is awesome! This is the only pic I have by the way. Sorry for the newbie question but thanks for your insight

Looks like a
911 supersport or AKA 911 with turbo body
or
930 (but I cannot see an intercooler)
It then has a different engine cover, different wheels, different front spoiler under the original bumper & finally it has teardrop mirrors from the later 964 911.
It is also lowered.
Of course, it could infact be any long wheelbase 911 1969 to 1989. Nobody to my knowledge seems to install those impact bumpers to newer cars yet. Some people do retrofit the later cars with the earlier bumpers and add the horngrilles below the headlights to give the later car a classic look, especially a 2.7RS replica.

OK heres the true dirt on that car..
1) Its a pre '89 911 NOT a 964
2) It definitely could be a Turbo or Turbo look car (my $$ says its a Turbo car)
3) The wheels are Fikse FM10 (18")
4) Has boxed rockers installed with the air intakes grafted into the rear 1/4s
No IC in the pic due to the angle as if the AC was retained you cannot get a full bay IC on there. The car is smokin' HOT.
Just for my buddy SoFast:

You are right on 99%. The wheels look a lot like FM-10, however, if you look VERY closely at the centers you will see they are different. They are actually Fikse 19" Profil 10 in SpeedSilver finish. Definitely awesome!

Does the 993 turbo tail fit on an SC as well?
It's one of the best looking tails out there I think... would definitly be sometihing to think about along with those teardrop mirrors.

I have Fikse 17" and the lug holes in the rim are different. The ones in the picture are definately different. As for 19" rims. What are the fitment issues? I wonder how they woukd look like in person? Too oversized for the car?

Speaking of 993 pieces, MA Shaw offers a 993 Turbo S front bumper for the 930. Mike claims it's "totally bitchin'", and I'm sure it is, but I'd like to see one in the flesh if anyone has a picture of one. Mike says none of the five customers who have bought them have ever sent back pictures of the piece installed.
