Color help needed!
My car is about to be painted this week. I'm still kind of split between Gulf Blue and a Lexus color called Twilight Amethyst Pearl. The lexus color will be a safe bet because its very close to black. As for the blue I feel risky and uncertain how it will turn out on my car which is a 930 turbo with the slantnose rear fender fins and box rockers but without the slantnose infront. Has anyone any opinion/objection to these colors? Thanks

What year is your car? if it's between '78 and '80 there was a color available called petrol blue. I have to say it's a unique and amazing blend between blue and green. Check the picture. Color is however a very personal matter. Just my thoughts.

This is a joke right?....gulf blue. Dark car is hard to keep clean...Plus, any pearl in the paint and if you ever have to match it...even if close to black...w/the metallic flip, etc. is very difficult.
Plus...do you really want to tell people its a "lexus" color...if you want a metallic, Porsche has had many to choose from.
Did I mention that the Gulf or Mexico blue would be awesome.

I know I'm not answering your original question, but if I may just state my 2 cents.....keep it the original color. You'll be glad you did in the long run. Been there done it with the color change many years ago. Worst thing I could have done. I would love to change the boring color of my white 930 but its too much headache to do it right. Anyway....Silver looks awesome on A 930!

My votes
1) Silver but add a more agressive air dam(RSR comes to mind it'll look great with the slats) - this will be best for resale and it already looks great
2)Petrol or gulf blue- my preference is the Petrol but both are great colors
