Hi,
I have a race 911 turbo. I have a zork tube for an exhaust. The question I have is where should the o2 sensor be mounted. Before or after the turbo. And if one or the other, how far from the turbo or outlet pipes.
Thanks
Ed

There isn't much you can do when running a Zork tube. Install the sensor a few inches from the outlet of the turbine. Never before the turbine as the backpressure will cause incorrect reading on most AFR meters. MoTeC meters have the ability to put in a back pressure compensation table so they will work, but I still would rather see them on the outlet.
You may notice the engine running lean at idle, but that is most likely diluted exhaust from fresh air. Just be aware of situations like that.

OK, sounds good. That is what I had heard as well. Tried one before the turbo and got some unusual and irratic readings, but that is where the bung is on my headers.
Now I need to get a bung and weld it to my zork tube.
Thanks
